The wedding was held at Maleny Manor. We took the bride and groom to this amazing spot to catch the late light.

Cheers

Great photos Judy! You've certainly inspired me for my upcoming shoot this weekend. You certainly have a talent for capturing the natural and decisive moments. Hope you continue working on it and reap the rewards of our ability.

Thanks Alex.

I agree these are much nicer - it's all in the light :) Mind you, the location doesn't hurt either.

Best

Thanks heaps Wendell.

Yep, these were taken just out of Maleny which is in the Blackall Ranges about an hour north of Brisbane (Sunshine Coast). This is looking out to the coast, and those are the Glasshouse Mountains in some of the pics. Maleny is about 15-20 minutes inland off the main highway north.

I posted some pics a couple of weeks ago that I took at Shorncliffe Pier. I came across a wedding party having pics taken and asked the photogs if I could take some photos. They were more than happy.

I got their email address and sent them a few and they then asked me if I'd like to join them at a couple of weddings to take some candids to see how I got along. Might lead to helping out as a second shooter later on.

It was a great experience. The photogs are 2nd and 3rd generation photogs, mum, dad and daughter. Lovely family, and very easy to get along with. I was with mum and daughter and it was great to watch them at work. Learnt heaps, and of course can see that I've got a huge amount more to learn. It was great to be able to take pics without the pressure of having to 'perform', but it was still exhausting LOL

Thanks Wendell,
Judy

Wow, thanks PiroStitch, made my day

It's all very exciting stuff and it would be wonderful if it does lead to helping out some more.

Judy - I'm impressed !!! These are beautiful photos that anyone would be proud to have taken - well done !!!

Number 4 grabs me - a couple looking into the future ...... maybe it's just me being romantic? But stunning !

If you were here, I'd give you a big hug - I wish I could take people photos like that !!!!!

What a great call to have that colour wedding dress :D . The setting is amazing..

#1,6 through to 9 are just amazing. Beautiful light, great framing and contrast and the couple look great. They must be over the moon with this set.

Well done.

Thanks for the great comments ozczecho. I'm not sure if the B&G have seen any of my shots since I was just tagging along. I haven't seen the photographers shots from this session yet, but hopefully will eventually, I'd like to see how mine measure up :D.

Thanks for stopping by.

hehe, thanks for the thumbs up Mark, but I very much doubt it!

I can't take any credit for the setting up etc, the photogs organised everything so I had the easy job.

I bet Wendell can already see kids jumping around in the morning mist wrapped in expensive clothes for the winter collection...

Cheers

hehe, would be a great spot for Wendell. That grass was darned long though. I decided I'd lie down and take some shots - totally disappeared. Must have looked hilarious if anyone saw me. I only hope they were all too busy!! Kids would have a ball there though.

Cheers
