Simon - niece and nephew, so the species MUST be 'Kiddus angelicus' ;)

Thanks for the comments - I'm really crap at people shots :(
But it's fun trying (except the 2 1/2 year old finally put her hands over her face and started shouting 'no more photos' !!!!)

2 more examples where you dont have to have the subject facing the camera to make them good shots.
