Couple of birds today.Was lucky enough to come across two frogmouths while out for a wander through a national park. Quality isn't great as they were very high up in a tree, but I think it's nice to capture these beautiful birds

Mark everytime I find some owls they are always in places where it is difficult to photograph them. You have done quite well.
Oh and I agree with Pa, that looks to me like a butcherbird. "The good thing about meditation is that it makes doing nothing respectable"

There was a frogmough in my yard the other night, first time I ever saw one around here. looking back, It may have been after the kittens I presented in another thread. Steve check out my image gallery @
