Nice NightWas driving along longingly looking at the sky this evening, and couldn't resist hopping out when I caught a glimpse of sky with no powerlines.

Lovely shot Macka. Agree with Pharmer but I'd also be very tempted to pinch a bit of the tree foliage and clone it over the rooftops - give the scene a less urban look.

Thanks everyone for the comments.
Yeah - that area got darker when I did my curves adjustment, but I liked what it did to the rest of the sky. I guess I can fix it by playing in curves a little more? Cheers,

Macka - switch the mode to LAB colour before you do the curves adjustment. When the curves box comes up, make sure the "Lightness" channel is the one you're working on and alt-click somewhere in the middle of the adjustment box. This gives you a smaller scale enabling much more precise adjustments to specific areas of the scene. Switch back to RGB when you're happy. Little trick I learned from Big Pix - works really well. Alternatively, you could use a layer mask which might be easier if you've already saved your psd file with layers intact. If you're not sure how to do this look at the excellent tutorial titled "A Photoshop Reference: Essential Adjustment layers at http://www.radiantvista.com/video_tutorials/page2/[/url] Andrew
