There was a Thai beauty contest and this is one of the contestents. Do you think the skin tones are way off? Any suggestions are very welcome.

Thanks

if you look at the skin tones on the shoulders, they seem ok.

I believe she is wearing too much makeup.

Her face is a bit purple and I don't think it's due to the makeup. Alex, try and tweak the white balance in NC as I know there were about 3 different light sources (reflection of the clouds, spotlights as well as your sb800).

I agree with the PiroStitch, too much magenta! Try changed WB in NC!
Nice event for take the photos, do you have more photos from this contest? :)

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the feedback. Her face does seem to have a bit too much magenta, but it looks like the WB is ok as white measures as 96 0 -1 in Lab which suggests WB to be spot on. Her skin near shoulders/ neck also seems to be of natural looking tones (not too much magenta). When I tried reducing magenta, her other skin (near shoulders) goes a bit greenish :-).

Actually, upon re-examining, I think it is a WB issue. Have a look at another shot of the same girl...

Looks more natural (skin tones)
