Hi Big V,

some beautiful photos. Nice perspective on the tiger. On both the tiger and orang, I would have liked a bit of fill flash in the face. Not sure if that is okay to do or not, haven't been to a zoo in a long time.

The second one is a classic, nice DOF, worth framing in my book :D

Last one, doesn't do much for me, nothing to hold my attention.

thanks for sharing,

André

Andre, I have used a little fill flash - but only to pace a catch light in the eyes..I shot these with a 400mm lens, so that is the best I can do unless I use a beamer although I think it would look to artificial with any more fill..trying to keep it as natural as possible.
Yes, I agree about shot 2 - a classic.

number 2 is a classic.

tigers are my favourite big cats and I like the first one. I would attempt to clone out the wire stuff on the right though as this takes away the in the wild feel.

number 3 is nice also but perhaps too much tree.

4 doesnt do anything for me.

Hi Big V,
Great shots. I went to Immersion today and had trouble getting near the glass because of the number of people. Looks like you had it a bit easier. I had glass reflections ruining many of my shots.Image
