While visiting the new exhibit in the Zoo, you can't not stop past the Lions.

The big cats are magnificent animals aren't they? The zoo's a great place for a wander around for a day, never been to Adelaide zoo...

I think at Monarto they have photographic sessions, that'd be fun...

The big cats are definitely my favorites. The Adelaide Zoo is very good but they still have a few of the old style cages which are hard on the animals and difficult to photograph. We're all very glad they are replacing many of them.

I've only been there once. I think the photographic sessions would be good. The regular tours greatly depend on the number of people on the bus and the driver you get.

hate to see zoo shots with bars.

2nd is my favourite although I still see stuff (oof bars??) across him
possibly some more saturation would give it some more punch

Weird - I usually hate shots of zoos when you can 'tell' they are in a zoo - but I kind of like the effect that you've achieved with the first shot. The shadows formed by the bars and the light work for me (in some weird kind of way)

All my lion shots have bars visible in them. :( There is no escaping them.

Thanks Rel.
I was surprised to see how the light appeared. I like the added texture.
