love the way the rays of light emerge from the tree.

also feel the monochrome works well for the last one.

Keith

Shot #1 is fantastic and, as Steve has already said, the rays of light really make this. The light gives the entire image a wonderful ethereal glow.

Three very nice images. Well done. I would be tempted to try a curve adjustment in the first one to increase the contrast to make the sunrays stand out a bit more from a darkened background. It would also work well in B&W.

Pa
it was taken at 4.20pm
the sun is shining through dust kicked up by cars driving along a dirt track that runs through the middle of the shot (Euroka clearing in the blue mountains)
I played with the white balance and contrast in rawshooter pro to get this look plus slight dodging on the tree trunk to bring back a little of the detail

These are absolutely awesome Firsty. Particularly the first one, which is very freaky but very cool at the same time. You're obviously getting the hang of the camera and PS huh! Very fine work.
