an old image revisited

the first image I ever posted was this church in parramatta.
originally posted as shot with wb set to shade and no other pp.

I revisited this today and dropped the colour temp down and this is the result:

I quite liked the original despite the orange colour but this has a completely different feel, almost like slide film at twilight

quite a dramatic change.
is interesting revisiting old shots when you learn more about what pp can do.

Yep, certainly a vast improvement over the original, but for me it lacks a bit of contrast and appears a bit flat and 2 dimensional. Play with contrast adjustment and see if you can get a bit more 3D out of it. :) Good image anyway.

Hey Steve.

I'm with Killa 100% on this one - tremendous improvement but could still do with a little punch - as Obi Wan would say: "Use the Curve, Luke"

Also, sad to see the top of the spire has been cropped out. :cry:

Agree about the lack of contrast. I posted both as is just to demonstrate what I thought was a dramatic change to the original.
dont think there was any usm on it either.
