I like it. Lovely deep colour in the sky thanks to the polariser and simple, but effective, I think. There's a little white spot (cloud?) in the bottom left that I would clone out. I would also consider cropping the RHS a smidgen more to get rid of the tiny bit of other building/background.

The image works for me - simple, striking and effective. I must admit though that I'm a big fan of polarisers, this may bias my reaction

Thanks.
I've cloned out the white spot (was a plane!) and the other building (good spotting!). Due to my gallery layout I've replaced the original image so those who post later can't see what Macka was commenting about

Not boring at all Dion. Nice strong colours and nice composition.

Given your propensity for B&W I am suprised you did not post an alternative image as well

Strewth the color in this is bold but love it... Seems really imposing the way you've portrayed it...
Only suggestion I could make is to perhaps crop off the bottom so the architectural detail isn't chopped off, rather that the image either starts *just* above where the clipped details are or includes them...

Oneputt - yeah I was thinking that, but the colour is monotone enough for my liking
Mudder - I too was debating that myself, and I think you are right. I'll have a go at that later tonight.

Certainly not boring. I think this image would work in a magazine. Very usable.

Simple classic lines, but will be better after the crop. It's a strong image and works well.
