Hi,

there was a beautiful sunset at Redhead beach this afternoon. Here is one of the many photos I took:

I was doing braketing photos tonight. Do you think it is fine as is or would merging two or three of them make it that much better?

thanks,

André

Andre,

I think it's nicely exposed. You could try to blend a few, but be warned, sometimes the result looks a little unreal.

Andre - I don't see anything wrong with how you've prepared this one. It ain't broke so, in my opinion, don't fix it.

this is a nice image.

you have managed the colors in the sky without making the foreground stuff look too dark.

I agree, this one aint broke. dont fix it.

thanks for the comments, much appreciated. I won't break this one then. :D

I'll get some broken ones to try my merging techniques. I have others with rocks in foreground that look a bit dark, so will try with those.

Cheers,

André

The colour of the sky looks fantastic Andre.

I have also taken note to visit Redhead beach when I'm up near Newcastle next time.

This is fine as is. Not only is it well exposed (if the foreground was any lighter it wouyld drag you away from that lovely sky), but I like the way you've managed a touch of golden wet sand on the LHS

I also think that this image is just fine. :) It certainly was a corker of a sunset last night. I was traveling through Gosford at the time you took this image and I was kicking myself for not having my DSLR with me!

Love the dramatic clouds Andre. Exposure is well done and I feel the dense clouds were much in your favor to help with the exposure.

you are a lucky Devil have such a great and close location :!: :!:

Thanks everyone,

looks like I'll print this one :D

I am pretty lucky to live in a great location. I saw the clouds last night and figured that the sunset could be really good and it did :D :D

Whales should start coming up the coast soon :D , there's always a cuppa on for those that want to stop in.

Cheers,

André
