Sometimes you see something that's not a sunset, or a portrait opportunity, or a beautiful landscape, but you still feel the need to take a photo.

It's from a packet of organic ramen noodles whose serving portions are lovingly separated by little ties of plastic that the makers optimistically refer to as 'ribbons'. I particularly love the fact that it's not a suggestion, but important enough to qualify as a warning.

(On a more technical note, I actually found this photo rather difficult to take... to get the depth of field I wanted I had to shoot from pretty low down, and the length of the lens at macro mode was enough to block out part of the flash... so it required a couple of attempts! I bumped up the saturation in PS to highlight the noodles, which are actually not quite that yellow. As such, C&C still appreciated: as 'disposable' as this image is, I was still trying to take a decent shot of it)

But, it was worth it to pass the message onto y'all who didn't know:
DO NOT EAT RIBBONS!!

Without your explanation this picture would have meant nothing to me. I really think the picture needs to tell the story and, for me, it doesn't in this case.

To make your point the noodles, with their accompanying ribbons would need to be in focus, and the ribbons would need to be more obvious, and more obviously inedible.

Just my opinion..please feel free to disregard

43mg of Sodium per serve (after cooking), that can't be good for you

As for the image, I don't know if it's the PP or the resize when you converted it but the OOF area's just don't look right to me.
