SophieThis is my niece Sophie, taken today with my repaired D70 and the 50mm 1.4. Not sure if the OOF whisp of hair on her left side is too distracting. Comments and critique welcomed:

Beautiful shot Geoff - I personally don't think it's distracting as you've done such an amazing job drawing me into her eyes, I didn't even notice till you pointed it out.

Gorgeous portrait geoff. I think the tac sharp focus on the eyes makes the OOF worry a non event. The viewers eyes are drawn and kept on the eyes. Lovely. I would however agree with Chris in terms of cloning out the bright spot on her head or else develop it in PP to be a flower in her hair

Thanx for the comments guys, can you believe I didn't even notice the door knob until Chris mentioned it. Will have a go at PPing it tomorrow - er, I mean today

www.colberne.com.au I purchased a Teddy Bear this morning for the sum of $10. I named him Mohammed. This afternoon I sold him on E-Bay for $30. My question is, "Have I made a prophet?"
I think it's better now.
