This is my niece Sophie, taken today with my repaired D70 and the 50mm 1.4. Not sure if the OOF whisp of hair on her left side is too distracting. Comments and critique welcomed:

Beautiful shot Geoff - I personally don't think it's distracting as you've done such an amazing job drawing me into her eyes, I didn't even notice till you pointed it out.

Geoff, I wouldn't worry about it; it's a lovely shot regardless.

A lovely shot Geoff except for the doorknob coming out of the little ladies head

The hair OOF effect does distract, but everything else more than makes up for it.

Gorgeous portrait geoff. I think the tac sharp focus on the eyes makes the OOF worry a non event. The viewers eyes are drawn and kept on the eyes. Lovely. I would however agree with Chris in terms of cloning out the bright spot on her head or else develop it in PP to be a flower in her hair
cheers
