I'm back from my Easter break in Perisher and have lot's of posts to catch up on.
Here are a couple of Lake Jyndabyne...

And one from the top of the quad chair

All those clouds produced snow on Saturday night...these dead flowers acted like little cups.

I have a million shots of snow gums which I will save for another post.
I am still really learning how to use photoshop, so happy to hear comments about PP and improvements.

It all looks so flat in summer :?

I love the snow cups, bring on the real snow

I love the storm clouds over North P, to compare to #3, one of mine from 2004 (good season :D)n the same place:

Mum, I really like the first two and the fourth. The Lake Jindabyne shots are really nicely exposed (I checked on the proper monitor!).

Great shots..

Just got back from Guthega a couple of weeks ago. Work party for the lodge. There had been a big dump the night before. Looks like I'll be up there most weekends over winter since my daughter fancies herself as a snowboard champ.

Great shots Suzanne! It looks so peacefull there.
I really like the second last one!
Maybe boost the colour saturation a smidge and add a little 'unsharp mask'?

 We were just imagining the difference with snow - good to look at the real thing.

Thanks Shakey. We are going to be there a few weekends as well. My son is doing junior patrolling this year at Perisher with his uncle.

Thanks agriffiths. That shot is my favourite as well. I will have another play with the saturation.

Hope he doesn't have to rescue me. :D

If you are ever desperate for accomodation my club occasionally has spots in Guthega (2 lodges) and Thredbo (1 lodge) at $62-$80 per person per night (mid week). Send us a pm if you are interested.

I like them all a lot, they have a natural soft lightning, the last one though seems a bit overexposed and flat, but i like em!
