I do not often play around with B&W but I thought that this image cried out for it. Any C & C would be appreciated.

your spot on John, did need the B&W treatment.. only thing id remove is the rail.. looks like the poor fella has been speared through the head and is now waiting for the rotissery to start spinning
Doesnt look like it'd be a hard edit.. but its still a great image

Beautifully tranquil image John that suits B&W treatment. I can almost taste the solitude, peace and quiet. After Easter's debacle I'll have to wait till July for my next attempt at 'serenity now'
cheers

I agree with you about the rail Tim. When I first spotted him he was stood up with a rod in hand but by the time I had grabbed the camera he had sat down, and I was stuck with it.

My advice? He should be using blood worms, not squid.
Terrific shot John - wouldn't change a thing. That's how you saw it, that's how you captured it. Next time, though, yell out and tell the bloke to stand up and put his rod in his hand. Be very careful how you word it....
