Action Shots!

Some of you may remember this thread in which I asked for advice for a sports gig Rooboy and I will be shooting at next month.
Today we went to a couple of the club Handball matches at the HK Ward Gymnasium at Sydney University to get a feel for where we might want to stand in relation to the court, and to practise anticipating play. We did the best we could with the kit lens and the 50mm 1.8 in very low light. All shots were taken wide open in AP mode, at ISO 1600. They've been run through noise ninja, some have been cropped, followed by USM.
Here are some of the best shots. The rest can be seen here.
First two by me, second two by Rooboy.
Below is my Dad giving someone a two minute suspension for what they did to the player on the floor.
Dad tells me the event will have much better lighting, not to mention tonnes more room.
Would love to hear what you think.
