From a couple of days ago.

I quite like the 1st one but would appreciate members input.
I am pretty happy with the second but was wondering if the 3rd was a tiny bit over exposed and needs toning down a bit.

Thanks for the comments.

i think they're great, love the last 2 because of the colours and reflections, and i think the last one is spot on :)

Geoff - I love them all, but I'd be a bit biased...I absolutel adore this parthe world, being a local myself. one and three are my faves. Bloody hell mate, when you want go out for a shoot, I'm always willing.

I think you're right about the third one - too blown out and harsh. The second shows a nice soft balance between the shadows and the highlights. Much more like I would imagine the true scene to have appeared.

my favourite is the last also.

the colours in 2 are nice also. but thought there was too much dark at the bottom.

when I got to the last, I realised that you thought similarly and cropped the bottom.

well done.

Hey Geoff - I really like the first one ..... highlights on the clouds and the detail of the leaves silhouetted against the sky really works for me :)
Very very nice !!!

Thanks for everones input and comments.

I'll have a bit of a fiddle with that 3rd one. Its actually doesn't look as bad with the high res file. I love the water reflections - looks like its mercury reflecting the sunset.

Geoff - I'll have to try and take you up on that offer. Unfortunately most times I just do things at the spur of the moment. For example, the 1st in this series was off my balcony. I saw that was it going to be a great sunset so I hopped in the car and raced down to the lakes. Only got off 20 or so shots before the show was all over.

I am absolutely positive now that Bernie is in fact a plant from all of those at labcolour, working in the background to convert us all to the labcolour cult !!!!
