I quite like the 1st one but would appreciate members input.
I am pretty happy with the second but was wondering if the 3rd was a tiny bit over exposed and needs toning down a bit.
Thanks for the comments.

i think they're great, love the last 2 because of the colours and reflections, and i think the last one is spot on

I think you're right about the third one - too blown out and harsh. The second shows a nice soft balance between the shadows and the highlights. Much more like I would imagine the true scene to have appeared.

my favourite is the last also.
the colours in 2 are nice also. but thought there was too much dark at the bottom. when I got to the last, I realised that you thought similarly and cropped the bottom. well done. steve check out my image gallery @

Hey Geoff - I really like the first one ..... highlights on the clouds and the detail of the leaves silhouetted against the sky really works for me

Thanks for everones input and comments.
I'll have a bit of a fiddle with that 3rd one. Its actually doesn't look as bad with the high res file. I love the water reflections - looks like its mercury reflecting the sunset. Geoff - I'll have to try and take you up on that offer. Unfortunately most times I just do things at the spur of the moment. For example, the 1st in this series was off my balcony. I saw that was it going to be a great sunset so I hopped in the car and raced down to the lakes. Only got off 20 or so shots before the show was all over.
Nice shots....... would like to play with No2 with Lab colour.........

I am absolutely positive now that Bernie is in fact a plant from all of those at labcolour, working in the background to convert us all to the labcolour cult !!!!
