mudflats worker

was trying out my Pentax A*200 macro to see what its like as a telephoto lens.
wide open at f4 1/1000 iso 200

I would crop some off the bottom of this shot about where the strips of mud end.

looks stronger in my eyes that way.

i did look at that but i like the sense of distance that the original gives.

Colours/image seem seem a little flat ( I should imagine the time of day hasn't helped) but I like the way you have composed the image with way you have alluded to the movement from right to left of the shoveller by including the porgress of holes as he makes his way up the beach.

the salt air over the long distance probably adds to the flat look and taking it at midday doesn't help either :lol:

I think a little less of the foreground would help but I must say the lens is nice and sharp on the subject (the worm digger) Look forward to some neat Dragonflies :D

I thought they either:
a. worked for the Mudflat Mafia
or
b. worked for Telstra/Optus (or any other telco)
