I took my new 80-400VR (thanks Birdy) out for it's first outing today and was pretty impressed with what I got.

This was my favourite from the Anzac Day March.


Plus the Horse and Rider shot.

Nice one John... You obviously had better light than we did in Sydney today... Most of my 80-400VR shots were very blurry...

I actually quite like the first shot of the horse & rider in your gallery too...

Thanks for the comments John and Trieu. Yes the light was nice in Hobart.
I am amazed just how sharp this lens is though. The Horse and Rider shot was 1/60 sec hand held.
