Byron Bay silhouettes
We have just returned from NNSW and stayed with friends who live a skip and a jump from the beach at Byron Bay. So, of course we went up to the light house. Here is one of my shots of the trip.

Sheila - with the 5D I think ISO 1600 hasn't affected the outcome at all - nice image

For some strange reason the moment I saw this image I believed it to be a 1940’s photo. For this reason this photo has a timeless appeal and I love it.

i l ike how you've captured the sunrays shining down on the group, however the posts on the rhs don't seem to add anything to the image. have you tried to crop it down?>

I did debate cropping the posts and will probably do so. Its been years since we were in Byron but we must return as it has such beaut sunsets!

The first one is beautiful, and I agree a crop would make this shot stronger! Can't believe the performance of the 5D at high ISO, lovely stuff.
