Hi all, here is my 2nd try at posting pics for feedback, lets hope it will go better then the first.

Shots from Anzac morning, the Australian flag flying at half mast.

Early mornings are hard but the atmosphere in the city this day was very different, excitment with the march through the city but at the same time, a looming sadness on people's faces.

Sorry.. I know the Harbour has been done to death but their's a certain satisfaction to know that these are all my doing

Nice shot's, your last pic is my favourite.

number 3 is my favourite also

I think the tree frames the opera house too closely in one, plus the flare is distracting as is the binocular thingies

Very nice trio. A pleasure to look at. Are they are little over-processed in the noise department? They look a bit too smooth.

Yeah, now that you mentioned it... the tree is abit close. I also tried shooting with the hood but couldn't get rid of the flare.

I am still pretty new so not sure about the "over processed in the noise department" means. (I think I gotta do more reading).

I really like the last shot - the perspective on the bridge is different

I like the brightness of the Opera House in #1 and #2 Trieu, it really stands out, nice and sharp too.

#3 is a fresh perspective. #1 & 2 appear to have crooked horizons to me

I really like the 2nd pic of the OH. Perhaps I would try a different perspective to get rid of that barrier in the way because my eye is drawn to it.

Damm, that's it. I have yet to capture a pic of the OH that i am happy with and you have inspired me to get up off my lazy fat arse and get to the quay for some dawn shooting.

Yeap, dawn shootings are harsh.. I couldn't agree more, but damn rewarding when you print out the shots.

So many angles and so many mornings... just wish I had more time.

Trieu, nice work I like the second and third. If I was going to mention anything, I would suggest on the second shot the image would seem more complete if you had included the tip of the sail from the third build of the OH. There is not much on the left of that image anyway, so a centimetre more on the right and a centimetre less on the left would make the image more complete for me (assuming the OH was the focal point )

My suggestion for #1 is to make it more of a panorama by cropping the top of the tree - that way you can get rid of a fair amount of the flare. Clone out the post to the right.

#3 is just perfect. Nice composition and good exposure. Well done.
