An effective and simple composition that works quite well Sheila. On my LCD it looks a bit too bright though. I imagine it would look better printed.

Like Steve said, this is simple and elegant and works really well.
The only thing I find a tad distracting is the hot spot right under the trolley, seems just a little too bright.

Great shadow though.

nice crop, got all of the shadow in the view. behind the trolley looks a little over, which probably couldnt be helped because of the shadow.

I have a sneaking suspcion I've already seen this shot, have you posted it here before Shelia ? Perhaps I just remember it from one of your galleries.

Yep, unfortunately the highlights around trolley are distracting but a nice idea.

I don't mind the hotspot behind the trolley, it gives it a spotlight type of effect for me... The simplicity of the image works really well on an every day subject...

You have a very creative eye, I always enjoy your posts...

I agree with mudder. I think the hot spot adds something to the overall effect. I like it.

No, I only just took it a couple of days ago. You must be thinking of a similar shot with a bicycle.
