Lightning Reloaded

I'd shown the original version of this some months back, not long after it was shot in December last year, I've now seen the original on my new monitor and was kinda horrified at the noise, the suddenly clearly visible dust bunnies my old CRT just wasnt sharp enough to correct comfortably and here I have also dumped the big fat black border for a thinner white border and a different signature.

(I bought the 20" 1680pixel wide BENQ LCD 8ms monitor - so far I'm wicked happy with the colour balance of it - if this shot seems way off, it's the oil refinery lights from below that give that funky orange glow, and the two white spots upper right hand side are actually stars)

Terrific image Mark with plenty of colour, contrast and mood. Composition is great. Frame this one. p.s. You might want to get rid of a couple of little dust spots above the lightning arm running vertically up the page.
cheers

thanks guys...
those two spots are not dust, they are stars. I checked other shots taken in slightly different angles/aspects and those stars are definitely not dust. :)
