Barrie, I find the colours appealing and that this image has got a lot going on keeps you looking at it trying to find more.

Thanks Big V - this image looks great as a full RAW image - so much detail. Its a shame to show it as an 800 pixel JPG

:D

I like how the lines lead you to the ferris wheel.

Off topic, but how do you get to this location and can you go inside the warehouse?

Piro - its on the same side as the fairground/ferris wheel. Keep going down the road past the fairground towards the Bolte Bridge. Its an empty industrial lot.

The docks and warehouses are fenced and private property - you can't get inside them

:)

Barrie,
There's something about the image I really like. I think it's the combination of beauty and ugliness.

Its a great rundown industrial area and that day Melbourne had some great clouds after a heavy downpour - lovely colours

Barrie - I really like this one you've got a great contrast in both colour and subject matter which makes for a strong & compelling image.
