Leigh and I had fun killing time after dinner last night playing with flash settings and getting different effects, here is an opener before I go to bed, I'm interested in any feedback, but bear in mind it's just at the fiddling stage so far.

#2 is very interesting, and I love the BW treatment. Very nice conversion, Craig! :)

It's an unusual but enjoyable visual treat Craig. I like it and the way you have juxtaposed the head of the gorgon  . Any details on how you achieved it? :)
cheers

Long manual exposure, off-camera flash fired manually?

Nice one Craig... but as if Leigh needed any help being scary ;)

SB-800 on the Hotshoe, set to RPT mode, 1/128 (I think) and 2x10Hz (I fiddled with the settings a lot trying to learn the ways of the SB-800 so these might not be actual to this particular shot). Then set to 2sec exposure f4, THe first flash would fire in standard orientation and then I'd quickly rotate my wrist so at the second firing leigh was in a different orientation, I also have some with 4 or 5 leigh's in it, bu that really was scary!! :) I might post a few more later if people are interested ;)
