The subject says it all. I'm not sure about these two images. Interestingly I thought they might work best in B & W yet they didn't - these are the colour originals after PP. I'd be interested on your thoughts on these. Click a pic for a larger version.

I really like the second shot. That fountain is very photgenic :D . I like the light that is bouncing down the steps on the left hand side.

The first one doesn't do much for me.

Yere - that second one is really awesome. I had to look at it twice to see what was happening with the light on the left. Congrats - I like. :D

The first one - my only thoughts are perhaps trying (probably not possible) to use a faster shutter speed to totally freeze the motion. Just my $0.02. :)

Interesting to see your take on the fountain stubbsy. Sheila posted her version yesterday and both are excellent!

Thanks guys. It looks like #1 is for the bin. Realistically I liked the concept, but the execution is a little lacking.

stubbsy - try cropping the first pic to portrait layout and just have the sunlight, shadows and water. i don't think the rhs water and walkway contribute much to the pic.

William. Thanks for your comments

Wayne - a recrop as you suggested. Don't think it works - foreground is too blurry.
