First Post 50mm 1.8 Canon Prime Shots (Pics Added)

Just got back from Blackdown Tabletops National Park... Wow what a place, I cannot recomend a visit to this place highly enough just beautiful and the perfect place to try out my new lens which i only picked up last thursday... (Canon 50mm Prime f1.8
)
To say i'm happy with this little lens is an understatment... it only came off my camera for approx 2 mins to shoot a young fat healthy Kookaburra with my 70-300mm (I'll post these later) but I have a lot to learn about using this fast lenses... I kinda way overexposed a lot of the shots...
I have over 400 pics to wade through but thought i'd put these up to start with... they have only been framed and resized - no other PP performed...
I'm not sure which one I like better - the fast shutter capturing the crisp flames or the slower (not by much) bluring the flames... I await your opinions...
Cheers
