Sorry Rel - the second one doesn't do much for me.
The first one however... what a cracker. A shame she wasn't looking slightly towards you but it's a beautiful capture and I love the treatment you've given it. Simon

Rel, I agree with Manta. The 2nd one doesn't work for me. The first one is excellent. Great composition and treatment. Well done.

The first shot (and this is only me being odd) I find unflattering, the profile I don't think does Anna justice, it's technically a good shot, but for me doesn't work as well as if she was facing the camera a little more.
#2 I get what you mean, the treatment reminds me of the markets where you can get you picture drawn in pencil or charcoal, I think the effect works for what it is imitating (her eyes being opened different amounts is a slight detracter but that's me being odd again).
Exactly what was irking me about it Craig. For me, the line from just under Anna's nose to her chin is too straight and, knowing Anna, it's obviously a trick of the light, or the PP treatment, that has made the shot turn out this way. Simon

A very different approach Rel and I really like the 1st. Not sure about the 2nd. Been back to look at a few times and I think I have to agree with the others in that the eyes are not quite right. I like the effect though
