Incredible what a difference a new perspective makes. Look closely and you'll see what I mean. (MODS: Please delete if this image has been on before)

Ah... it took me a while, but I finally figured out which perspective the photo had been taken from...

He seems to take a lot of shots from an ultralight.
Check out the incredible shots on his <a href=http://www.georgesteinmetz.com/>website</a>

Do you reckon he's looking for an apprentice?
I could think of many worse ways to earn a living.

I just got home from a 10 hour night shift and it took me 15 mins to work out what everyone was talking about.
Fantastic shot though.
Time for bed.

Yeah, excellent! I was seeing all sort of things (like a rock face with a painting on it) until it finally clicked and "whoa!".

Thanks for amending my original entry, Peter. I so very rarely post other's images that I forgot the correct protocol.
I'm pleased you all find this shot as refreshing as I do. I'll be bookmarking this guy's site as I find his stuff really inspiring. More than just the usual travelogue shots.

It really brings to mind the idea from Australia's top fighter ace in WWII "Killer" Caldwell who developed the method of shooting at the shadows instread of trying to sight the actual target in North Africa. Much easier to see.
