Have been extra busy PP'ing over the weekend...

Here's a couple of sunrise shots from very different places (both well worth clicking on for the large-scale versions):

The River Murray

Wilpena Pound

Not altogether happy with the sky in the Wilpena one - pano advice for today: don't use a polariser in such conditions!

Both pano's from several shots joined with Pano Factory.

Lovely images Sheepie. I'm sure it's an illusion but, to me, the Murray River shot seems to lean downwards on the right.

Leon

The Wilpena Pound image is great CP or not. While I like the moodiness of the shotl, the first image is a touch too brown for me - maybe reduce the greens and yellows a tich.

Love that second image Leon. A little cloning correction in the sky will have that gorgeous tone and colour across the whole horizon.

These are both very nice images...

I like the "flare" in the first, color tone seems a bit "brown" or something to me, also wondering about a lean to the right as Simon mentioned, serene, calm and relaxed image... Very nice...

The main subject in the second seems really detailed and has some terrific detail with the shadows across the rock face, but the bright sky detracts...

The first one is a treat to the eyes. 'How's that serenity eh?'

Hrrrmmmm - on reflection this does end up a tad brown on the web, it's really more yellow than brown. As for the lean to the right, I think it's just an illussion - I may have a look at 'straightening' it up a bit :)

Thanks for the suggestions guys - keep them coming :)

Leon - I love them both - classically beautiful shots.
The second is my favourite, but seems a little light, and bugger about the sky...... I played (only quick and dirty). Hope you don't mind - if you hate it, let me know, and I'll rip it off.

nice images sheepy.

I believe the murray one isnt leaning, perhaps an illusion created by the converging lines

You mean you got up for more than one sunrise on your holidays?

Both are very nice images, with the River Murray shot being my fave (as already said, it's slightly yellow-ish). The Wilpena Pound shot could benefit from more saturation in PP I think.
