First time to use a "black card" ... (I don't know how to call it..)
It was windy and cold....

Tyrone - #1 is exceptionally well composed and makes fantastic use of the light. #2 fails because it's let down by an uninspring foreground from the time exposed waves

Now what is a black card?
I think tyrone is referring to the use of the black frame/post card style he has used for the first time.
I think #1 is good enough as a stand alone pic anyway.
looking forward to more of your pics Tyrone..
it was definitely worth going out in the cold and wet weather to end up with this!

Number 1 is my pick too. I just noticed what looks like a storm or rain out to sea, I really like the way that the wharf is leading out to that.

Sorry for my english

(The black card......)
I was using a card with black colour to cover the sky after around 2 seconds so that the sky did not over exposed.
The total exposed time is 10 seconds.
