One more shot from my evening in Watson's Bay. Didn't really like the shot at first, but after some cropping and PP, it's growing on me. I'd be interested in other's opinions.

Suzanne

This is a really well done image. The blown highlight in the sky behind the building even works. I'd be inclined to do a colour adjustment and tone down the blue a touch in the shadows - otherwise a job exceedingly well done.

The blown highlight really works here - I particularly like the beam coming through the piers :). Needless to say, the birdies really make the shot.

I actually like the blue tinge in the shadows, it balances the yellows in the sky nicely IMO.

Thanks Peter and Patrick,
I will have a look at it in PS again and decide on the blue. This one has taught me to have a second and third look at all the photos from a day before discarding the ordinary ones. :D

I think the image works. The sunset contrasts well against the terminal and Cat, and the birds add to the atmosphere. I'd be tempted to clone out the half cropped bird on the left....

Well done.

Suzanne I agree with the above comments, you've done a good job, and in tricky lighting conditions, I also think the blue balances out the yellow in the sky nicely.
