Looking for shot of Tamarama Beach?

I have submitted some images of the Northern Beaches to a client who is looking for prints for their Sydney offices. I cannot assist them with images of Tamarama Beach on the south side and they have asked me to source them elsewhere. Does anyone have any really good images I can submit to them. Must be high res as they are going to be blown up possibly beyond A3. The client has yet to respond how they want the prints ie for me to print them, frame them etc or for them to do t his themselves. It will all depend on the size of the print.

As I did not know which forum to put this request in, mods can move it to wherever!

Cheers
Sheila

Sheila,

Why Tamarama? What do they have against Bondi, Bronte, Coogee or Maroubra? :)

In all seriousness, why not come on down for a cappuccino and a photoshoot? :)

And as regards Coogee, I believe that there are some sources for photos in a couple of the cafes on Coogee Bay Rd. Just FWIW.

A local Photographer has his work displayed and for sale in a cafe down at Bronte, I cant remember his name but I think he had a couple of Tamarama.

There is also a photorapher/Framer at The Spot, Randwick that specialises in beach photography.

That said I would certainly prefer to see one of our members get a guernsey and supply some images

Cheers
Rod

I agree. I can certainly think of the odd decent photographer who worked at Bondi

If they change their mind and want something from Maroubra, macka and I may be able to contribute something, if a 6MP D70 image is enough for their purposes :)

Thanks all. After getting prices of A2 (I can only print A3+ so had to outsource) including framing and matboards, and advising them what the bottom line would be, the silence was deafening!

It is often the way with prints. I get many enquiries for prints from both here and OS but rarely hear from them again. I certainly do not charge a lot for each print. It is so much easier (and more lucrative) to sell to graphic artists et al - less hassle, just send them the image by email along with your bill and within a month I get paid. No printing, no matboarding and no postage.

Cheers
