Very nice Dingo, nice colours. What time of day was this?

Again a nice water effect :)

edit: did you take any shots from a slightly lower perspective?

I'll never tire of your seascapes ld, not while you churn out the quality that you do. Again, a classic example of the style you have made your own :)

Where, when and how? thanks!

While you keep posting shots like this Paul, I won't tire of them, beautiful stuff (did you use a ND filter ?).

Owen - about 6 a.m., late for me 8) I did take a couple from a bit lower but is rather difficult trying to time between the waves rolling over

Thanks Leon :D

Thanks Birdy

Craig, yep, 2 stop soft grad to slow the rising suns light back, for a few seconds anyway :)

I looked eastward as I crossed the silverwater bridge this morning @ 0600 (unheard of for me!!) noticed the water and sky and thought wow. but then thought of the colours in the shots you have been posting.

another nice effort.

the more i look at this the more I think it would be better with a greater angle of attack - would like to see this with the pool more of a focus i think

Wonderful shot. I love the contrast being the sharpness of the rocks and the pool structure and the creaminess of the water in that great light.

Just love those rock pools - great image.
Do you mind telling me the exact location.
We might have a snap - if your on Sydneys north shore.

I don't get tired of seascapes. I'm orginally from Perth and have lived in Melbourne for 11 years. I pine for the beaches. Melbournites think they go to the beach at St Kilda. Quite deluded really.

Great shot BTW.

I have many shots from that beach area too - great place. Love the colours in that shot.

Strewth I don't think anyone would tire of seascapes like this...

The composition is strong and the leading lines are the core of the image...

Might be tempted to maybe introduce a smidge of curves as it just seems quite "bright" to me, but wowser, what an image...

Love the silky smooth water... Very, very catching... You must be happy with this one... :)

Thanks guys :!: Appreciate all of the kind comments

I don't have any at dusk from this area, always thought could be difficult with the cliffs overshadowing

This image blew me away! My immediate thought was "Not another boring seascape or a sunrise/sunset!"

Awesome colours and composition. What aperture setting did you use? Only being nitpicky, but I feel the depth of field drops out too quickly.

Awesome shot Paul,, love the contrast between the softness of the water and the sharpness of the rocks,

Dingo,

You can get tired of seascapes, but then one like yours turns up and you really appreciate how a good composition with good tones and subdued colour can renew your appreciation for them.

PiroStitch - shot at f22, hard to find a good hyperfocal point but I have been concentrauing in that area.

Maybe I need a 39 megapixel Hassy

Wonderful shot lostdingo.

Great colour and leading lines. HOw on earth do you get the water so sliky smooth? It looks like a lovely long exposure but also looks like daytime, or dusk. You must be using some nd filters or something.

Regardless, I don't tire of this type of shot. I am unable to take pictures like this so I appreciate not only the final result but also the process involved. Excellent.
