Hi All, damp day today and a big weekend for me as usual with over 150 bikes to try get pics of all and well get lots of pics maybe 400+ today so i got home and spent a good few hours processing and all on the web.
This weekend is seniors for riders over 45.

We had some rain but didn't stop anything and few accidents at corners where i wasn't at but cant win them all. Here is a few pics from today all taken with D2X,Nikon 300m F2.8 with Kenko 1.4 tc on so 420 m.

excellent shots, there is something about the d2x the colours or sharpness or maybe is the way you process your shots that they look so clean and sharp.

i like the last one, i like the expession on his face as welll the processing to b/w.

that 3rd shot could have been taken at any of the race meetings I was in back in the early 80's ( being 47 now and not old )

Thanks All, yes just a few pics so i am hoping it would be a nicer day today but it does not look like it very dull and overcast but well cant help that. I do get a few ppl looking at me when they go past now and then as in pic #1 but that happens.LOL Ok well better get my butt out to the track ready for another big day. I am on my feet allday trudging around the track carrying D2x with 300m f2.8 with D70-70-200 over the shoulder and well i didn't sit down yesterday till i got home till 5.30pm.

Nearly got run over by sidecar that would not turn and well thats what it is all about, fun smell of methenol burning engines and sounds that will deafen you and the ground rumbling with these machines from the past to the presant do there stuff.

You have some really good shots there.

Taking motorcycles pics on racing tracks is harder than it looks - I know because I have tried it!

I'd love to have one of them older bikes to kick around the track on - the new ones are just plain scary, way to fast and I wouldnt last long on one.

Thanks Again All. I have just walked in from another busy day from the track and was much the same as yesterday with lots of good racing and some very rare bikes to be seen. Mind you these bike are fantastic to watch and a lot worth a pretty penny, as the 2nd picture of that Vincent outfit is a no expence spared machine and if your wonder just how much a machine like this would cost let me tell you that the very basic base model of this outfit you would not get any change out of $125,000.

You think Photography is dear!!!
Well i have 400+ shots to process, better make a start and have them up but 9 or 10pm.
