Here's an image I just can't decide about. I oscillate between the colour and B & W versions, but part of me thinks the image itself may not be a keeper.
Be brutal.
Colour:
Black & white with added noise:

B&W for me, the noise makes it look like its come of an old time war movie, why a war movie I'm not 100% sure, but that's what enters my mind when I see it.

Second one by a mile, but fix the horizontal and vertical lines

Someone at the temple didn't check whether it was straight

B&W by a mile, the first just looks like it is badly lit

Don't like either honestly.
I think number one is the better one and number two just has useless noise.
That said, I'm guessing you used a Nik filter to get the second result and I think you'd be better suited using the Nik Stylizing filter "Old Photo".
The following are done using the colour option:
And this one done using the black & white option:

Your new one really brough out the 'coffee stain' near the bottom of the paper, not sure if I like it or not, I think its a little too obvious in yours maybe.

I still prefer the original coloured pic.

Gee Craig - more cloning
Redone. Version above replaced. Happy now - go to bloody Fiji so I can catch up on my TV viewing (there is 70 hours or thereabouts on my Toppy's 300Gb drive)

Hmmm, not sure... I like the color one for the realism, but the lighting seems to need some burning or something I reckon, but hey that's just me...

I like the final version Peter...
Does anyone have a translation of what the sign says??? It might be useful to know before you publish it widely

Are you aware that the sign says "Photography not permitted"?

Nice, I like either your b&w or one of Leigh's versions.
