What a wonderful place to take photos! I could have spent DAYS there if it wasn't for Chris being there with me (not into camera's/photos, or anything to do with taking photo's etc etc etc).


If you don't already know...these guys stand guard looking for birds that might attack the nest...to get this shot Chris stood beside me and waved his arms like a bird to get him/her to look his way ( ha ha ha...didn't want to tell him he looked a fool God what hubby's will do to get you to take the photo faster )

not happy with the top of his head, only PP done is abit of cropping, any tips on fixing this?

Those Meerkats are cute little tackers aren't they? And they can strike such a pose too, they make great photographic subjects...

Note sure about the top of the parrots head, not sure whether it's just getting out of the DOF or not... Hard to tell with no EXIF info...

The last one looks like a great shot of the trio Don't think it's under-exposed but if you wanted to "brighten" it up a bit you could do that in PP without increasing the noise by using levels or something. What are you using for PP?

A Zoo's a great place to wander around for a few hours...
