Once in a blue moon

Took this at 8:30am this morning, exactly 4mins after I woke up... got up initially to take photos of the emerald doves on my fence.. but the moon looked more interesting... and the dove photos are cactus... see the [url=http://dslrusers.net/viewtopic.php?t=17396]errors post

What sort of layabout doesn't get out of bed till 8.30. Shame on you. :lol: :lol: What lens did you use Tim and how much have you cropped.

This sort of layabout...

I used the Sigma 70-200 with 2x tele.. so it was zoomed about 400mm

Great shot, Tim. I've got exactly the same set up 70-200 with 2x converter. Should give it a go.

Teach me to have a mild case of Insomnia i tell ya.. usually crash around 3am.. sometimes i wake up late.. ive had days where ive crashed at 3am and up at 4am to go fishing...
