Hanging around with turn out coats

I went down to the fire station today (rural) I was bored and needed some pics to play around with before I went out tonight, I thought something like this would be cool.
My helmet is the 3rd one along
PS, yes I've taken quite a liking to black and white lately
comments and critique appreciated.

Yeh I was quite bored and I thought what the hell something different.
Im going to a house warming tonight thats going to be filled with young people I all know very well, I hope to get a few shots at that to muck around with in B/W.

I like it!
There's always things we'd personally do a little differently though, for me I'd maybe crop the top+left a little, or try burning in the top right to highlight the light falling on the helmets.

Are you saying the D200 at ISO 800 isnt noisy enough for your likings
optogamut: I burnt in a few places on the image and it looks alot better thanks for the recomendation.

I thought about adding noise but I thought there would be sufficient noise there from using ISO 800 disappointed by my new toy once again.

No I turned in camera High ISO noise reduction off as soon as I got it.

i also like it, the b/w is great, unfortunalty my eyes really are attracted to the writting on the wall becuase of the darkening of the corners
i still like it
