Yes, it's not my usual style or dodgy location.
This image is to prove I do also visit nicer locations (sometimes).
The light was harsh and not enough clouds in the sky for my liking.
I saw this beautfilul headstone in a local graveyard today.
Isn't that where we all go on a sunny day...????

Very good image, nicely PP'd. For me it would be better with a slightly tighter crop to remove the distracting headstones to either side and the grass at the bottom. But see the disclaimer in my sig block

thanks for your suggestion.
Its actually part of the entrance to the grave area, I wanted to use them for the composition to create an entrance/gateway to the statue.
Also, my idea was to use the foreground as a path to the statue, but whats in my head isnt usually right..
I didnt just want to have a statue growing out of nowhere. thats my idea, but I saw the real thing, so its good to hear how others see it.

I just had a close look at the face, and it is looking quite realistic.
It looks spooky, or maybe my eyes are just imagining it.
