Today I attended a urban search and rescue exercise involving Qld, NT, WA, and Tasmania. These dogs are absolutely brilliant at what they do, and very friendly!

I love dogs, miss my old mate, so any stuff on Man's best friend always makes me look...

Don't they just seem so incredibly talented! It's amazing what they can do, and they love it too... They'd have a very good healthy and loved life...

The eye contact in the first really grabbed me, and the pose of the last made me smile, he's talking to his mate...

I do like the way you have exposed these pics, spot metered on the subjects? with the background overexposed a tad (on my monitor)

I would pat the top two, but the bottom one I would let him sniff me first!

mudder.. it was a wonderful day... even better as i'm a big dog person. these dogs absolutely love what do, you can just see, and hear, their excitement.

Andyt.. yes.. spot metering. it was a very 'strange' frame to expose as the dogs are quite dark and the surounding rubble was extremely bright and reflective. Ha ha ha... I let them all sniff the top of my hand first before patting them... they are extremely friendly dogs, but you just never can tell
