i took these about a month ago, the first was taken in shutter priority of 1.6 seconds aperture was f/29 at 6.02 am
this was taken in aperture priority f/5.6 at 6.26 am

The colours are very nice though the second shot seems a tad soft to me, Im not sure if thats due to poor focus or camera shake, but the colours are certainly nice, getting up at sunrise is always rewarding except for when its extremely cold like it has been the last few mornings here.

Nice shots. Beautiful colours.
However I'd be inclined to crop the foreground out for a pano style photo as there isn't much interest there (for me anyway) and it would look better (for me anyway) with the horizon out of the middle.
Just out of interest... is there any particular reason you chose f29? You'd probably get sharper results using F16 or so at hyperfocal distance. Since there isn't a huge amount of very close foreground detail F16 would give you more than enough DOF.

Love the soft subdued colors and tones in these, very serene settings... Sunrise and sunsets are magical times of the day, I never tire of these sorts of images
One question, why F29? Or is that a typo, I couldn't get the EXIF to check... An aperture as small as this might result in softness if you use it for something with a detailed subject...

i took it in shutter priority, the f/29 aperture i assumed the camera set. the focal length was set at 32mm.

Ahhh, so I assume the camera wanted to extend the shutter time from what you set it at, so it closed the aperture down...
Where you after a "fast" shutter speed and that's why you used Shutter pri?

i usualy shoot in aperture priority,but with the low light i tried s/p, i set it for 1.6 seconds took a few shots and thats the results. i forgot that i had used shutter priority.
