Jonathon terrific start with new macro. I like #1 and #2.
#1 - Whilst nit picking, IMO (it may work) I would still probably be tempted to try to remove a little of the space in the left hand corner i.e. crop the photo so that the flower centre appears closer to that magic third in the lower left. Might improve visual impact. Excellent shot though
Revised Edit- second thoughts Jonathon, whilst my comment here is not without some merit, I believe your original shot stands better as it is
#2 - is also fabulous but i'd try to reduce the visual distraction/impact the bud on the right has by using a selective lens/gaussian blur mask with liberal feathering to certainly, if nothing more, reduce the ability of the tip of the bud to visually hijack the eyes.
