All shot with the 500mm mirror lens ......... but on a mono pod due to low light........
...... these birds make great subjects as you can get up close when shooting.....

Hi Bernie,
Great to see the King Parrot shots you took yesterday from the O'Reilly's Rainforest minimeet.
The first and third shots are just brilliant - rich colours, very sharp, great eye contact and good behaviour.
You must be thrilled!

Great shots. Can you let me know what ISO, F Stop , shutter speed etc you used?

ISO 250 the 500mm mirror lens is a manual lens that has only f8 as the f stop, camera speed 80th second...... all 3 pix's were shot the same..........
