Thanks Bob and it was great to see you and your wife, Marylin at the meet.

You have captured the sunset from Moonlight Crag well and it shows those that haven't been there what an beautiful place Lamington/O'Reilly's is.

This pic is somewhat experimental for me and is a result of merging 5 images each separated .7 of a stop apart and shot from the tripod.

I then used the HDR Exposure merge function in CS2 for the first time.

The outcome is OK but to me lacks a natural look.

What do you guys think?

The only thing that looks really strange to me is the sun, although I think it looks quite cool!

I've had another crack at it just by blending two images via the older more conventional method.

Any Opinions?

Sorry Bob but the weird sun in each version just spoils the whole shot for me

Bob.... the first one is what I have been trying to achieve, well done, but I am only using 4 images, a lot to be learnt about HDR........ I like what you have done........

Peter this is the pic of the sun pretty much out of the camera apart from raw conversion

I really like the one you posted of the opera house using the HDR blend
