Hello gmaster,
Two lovely images. I'm yet to get to the zoo with my D70 and am looking forward to the day I do. Having said that, here's my thoughts on your images.

#1 - Great pose, I would like to see a little more contrast, or perhaps some alteration with the levels/curves adjustment. Which lens/lenses did u use for these images? They appear just a TAD soft for my liking but maybe some USM could help too? I think you've captured him well, and it makes the viewer wonder what the little fella is thinking.

#2 - Would like to see more saturation on this one, and perhaps a tighter crop. Again, a lovely capture.

Any more?

think first one would work as a portrait crop also.

2nd shot would like to see cropped closer.
