Here's a couple more from the O'Reilly's minimeet (with all the O'Reilly's pics over the last few days, I don't want anyone to overdose, hence only a couple

)
Grasstrees overlooking the Lost World
Moran's Creek

i really like the second one. i would probably add a bit more contrast tho, to get the colours to pop.

Nathan : Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate your comment re. adding more contrast to the second shot but I purposely didn't add too much as it can look unnatural.
Bernie : Thanks for comments and next time we are out in the field I'll try one of your grad filters

You can say that again.
Nice capture on the first one Finch! Love the clouds, mine from here were all washed out.

Mark and Mark - thanks guys. First one is my fave and posted second one as there weren't many rainforest shots posted so far.
Regarding it being 'fantastic country', I couldn't agree with you guys more. I feel so fortunate to have been paid to have taken guests there repeatedly over a 5 year stint and will be going back to get more shots down the track.
Cheers

Two nice images Michael. I look forward to seeing what you do with your D200 in the future.

Thanks Craig,
Both shots were taken using a borrowed D100 and I'm still getting used to the settings. Having the D200 will be brilliant. Just have to be patient until its arrival.

Just catching up on some of the posts from last week that I missed. Love the first one of these - it is a lost world and a beautiful one at that. Have been to O'Reilly's, it's a great spot. Alas that was in my pre-digital stage.

Thanks Suzanne,
Yes, it really is a beauitiful spot and one of my favourite places. Having worked and lived there for 5 years was just bliss.
