I think the title describes this nicely but would welcome any comments and critique

I really like the composition of this...well thought out...highlight is a bit bright on the bllom but considering the contrast of the background it works

Hmmm... I would prefer only the leaves showing, or just the flower...

But maybe thats your intention here tho..

lighting is really nice here, flash used?

Yes the highlights are too bright and flash was not used.

I don't think a flash would have worked very well in this situation....I like the photo

Chris the contrasting colours of the pink and green are beautiful. The title suits the image. Nicely done chap!

Chris love the contrast. If you enlarge it give the bud a haircut, that D2Hs picks up every hair :lol:

I must confess I'm not a big fan of this. The composition throws me - with the peek a boo bloom placed where it is the whole image seems unbalanced.
